Is the app free?
Yes. Pricing a barndo, the floor plans, the land and financing checks, the owner-builder check and the trade directory are free, for as long as you're deciding. Barndo Pro — the step-by-step build manager — is CA$59 a month, cancel anytime, and free for a year with any Barndo & Co shell package.
Does it work in the United States?
Yes. Canada and the U.S., with pricing in your currency and owner-builder rules for all 64 states and provinces.
I have a shell-package code. Where does it go?
On the website: sign in at barndobuildconcierge.barndoandco.ca with the same email you use in the app, then Concierge → Ready to build → Enter a Barndo & Co code. Already have a build started? Profile → Account & plan → Redeem code. Then open the app — Pro is on.
Why can't I type the code inside the app?
Apple and Google set that rule for every app on their stores. It takes about a minute on the website, and after that everything works in the app.
What happens when the free year ends?
Nothing automatic — there's no card on file from a code. Your build stays exactly where it is; subscribe if you want to keep Pro.
Do I need to have built before?
No. It's written for first-timers: every task in order, in plain English, with what to watch for on each one — and a concierge you can ask at 10 pm.
Can my partner or my trades see it?
Invite up to two people to your build. They see the same roadmap, tasks and budget you do.
