Terms of Service

The Service

The Barndo & Co Build Concierge helps you explore, plan, and manage a barndominium build: floor plans, cost estimates, land and financing readiness tools, an AI concierge, and — for paid plans — build-management features. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms.

Estimates are not quotes

All prices, cost ranges, tiers, scores, and AI answers in the Service are planning references, not offers or quotes. Final pricing for any Barndo & Co product is confirmed only in a written agreement. Build costs vary with your land, site conditions, code region, finishes, and local trades. Always confirm code, permit, and engineering requirements with your local authorities and licensed professionals — the Service does not replace them.

Your account

• Provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account.
• You must be at least 18 to use the Service.
• Content you upload stays yours. You give us the limited licence needed to store, process, and display it to you (and to people you invite to your build).

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the Service: no unlawful content, no attempts to breach security or rate limits, no scraping other users' data, and no reselling the Service. We may suspend accounts that do.

Paid plans

Barndo Pro is CA$59 per month for your first building, and CA$49 per month for each additional building you add. Both are subscriptions: they renew automatically each month and keep billing until you cancel. There is no free trial and no minimum term.

If you subscribed on the web, Stripe processes the payment and we bill you each month. Cancel anytime in Profile → Account & plan; your plan stays active until the end of the month you have already paid for.

If you subscribed inside the iPhone app, Apple charges your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. It renews automatically unless you turn renewal off at least 24 hours before the current period ends, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel it in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions — cancelling inside this app is not possible, because Apple controls that subscription. Refunds for Apple purchases are handled by Apple, not by us.

Shell-package codes unlock the plan they state, for the building the code was redeemed on, and do not renew or charge you anything. We may change plan pricing prospectively — never retroactively, and never on a period you have already paid for.

The Service organizes and tracks your build — it is not professional advice. Task lists, phase guides, AI responses, and any references to building codes or regulations are general guidance only and do not constitute engineering, architectural, legal, or code-compliance advice. Requirements vary by jurisdiction and change over time: always confirm them with your local building department and rely on your licensed engineer, designer, or other qualified professionals before acting.

The Service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Barndo & Co is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the Service, and our total liability is limited to the amounts you paid for the Service in the twelve months before a claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law & changes

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. We may update them; material changes will be posted here with a new date, and continued use means acceptance. Questions: concierge@barndoandco.ca.
